Havens Framemakers & Gallery has the most exceptional and extensive framing selections in all of the Columbia Metropolitan area. Havens Framemakers & Gallery has over 5,000 molding samples from 30 different vendors strewn across seven walls of the gallery. Available to you are some the finest frames around. Havens carries many of the frames that are imported from Italy and Spain. The frames are beautifully and delicately hand-finished and hand-carved.
Accompanying the large frame selection, Havens Framemakers & Gallery has numerous matting options, in many different colors, textures and designs. Havens offers various options to accompany everyone's personal style and budget. Havens Framemakers & Gallery also specializes in frame restoration and shadow boxes.
Aside from the elaborate framing options, Havens has an art gallery featuring beautiful original artwork completed by native, South Carolina artists.
Robert Havens established Havens in 1968. In 1985, his daughter Betsy Havens took over the family business and ran the very successful "Havens Frame-it-Yourself." In 1993, Betsy began carrying furniture, accessories, home decor, and jewelry in the store and still continued to provide custom framing services. In 2003, after 18 years of running a well-established and successful business, Betsy decided to retire and the business was sold to the current owner, Jackie Vazquez. Although Havens no longer carries the accessories that were adored by many, we still hold true to the tradition established 39 years ago of providing quality custom-framing.
